bubabout is an on-going discussion about taking our kids out and about. We all want to know where to go, how to do it and then the reality of what happens!
That's why bubabout exists. The blog is a constant chat about life with kids and the reviews are the best places that you and I have found.
How does this site work?
Anyone can read the information on bubabout.com.au. By registering you can also contribute by writing a review or commenting on the restaurants, cafes and pubs other people believe are child friendly. bubabout only includes reviews of eating places that are good for children.
How do I get started?
There are many ways you can be a bubabout: become a member of the site and just comment, comment, comment on the blogs or on the reviews! If you have been to a place worth telling others about, write a review! Have something you want to spill? Send me your article or blog piece for consideration. We would all love to hear from you.
To fully participate in this site, go to the log in page and register your details. Once you receive your confirmation email, you are part of the bubabout community and ready to review and comment on the site.

Put in your login details and go to the “Write a Review” page. Simply fill in the template and submit. The bubabout administrators will check your review and publish it to the site. By hitting the submit button you agree to publishing your review and the supplied material becomes copyright of bubabout.
How do I comment on a review?
First you need to register with us. Once logged in, find a review and hit the comment button at the bottom. By submitting a comment you agree to being published on bubabout.com.au Please remember this is a community site about the best child friendly restaurants in each city. While constructive criticism is expected from a site driven by the community, please play nice – bad language won’t be tolerated nor will overly brash comments. If you don’t agree, please find a nice way to say that.
How do I find a place to eat out with my kids?
All places that are on the bubabout website are there because they are child friendly. You can find a place to eat by selecting a city, by reading what the “Latest Reviews” are or by reading the “Taste of bubabout …” snippets on the homepage. You can also type in what you are looking for in the search bar at the top of every page.
Is my review guaranteed to be published?
bubabout exists for all the best places to eat, some of which you may not have thought to be child friendly that serve great food, good coffee, maybe a glass of wine and certainly a smile. Predictable places like fast food chains, bistros and taverners may not be included on this site, unless of course there is something very special about them.

What are star ratings?
While bubabout is only the best child friendly restaurants, cafes and pubs in Australia, there are differing degrees of excellence. The star ratings are your opinions.
What age group does bubabout cater?
Broadly speaking, ages 0-5 years. However, some places are more suitable for babies (under 2 years) than others. We have tried our best to identify this in the summary (ie pram friendly) and in the written review.
